SION garage doors are engineered from polyurethane-extruded foam panels, a material chosen for its outstanding rigidity, thermal performance, and long-term durability.

Performance

Designed for the South African climate, these doors are completely weather-resistant, performing equally well in coastal and inland environments. The closed-cell polyurethane core provides excellent insulation, helping to reduce heat gain and loss through the garage, and improving overall energy efficiency within the home. The dense, inert structure of the material also delivers superior acoustic insulation, noticeably reducing external noise.

At 40 mm thick, each panel offers exceptional impact resistance and structural stability. Unlike conventional aluminium garage doors, SION’s composite panels will not warp, de-laminate, or corrode over time, maintaining both performance and appearance in the most demanding conditions.
